The shock that hit me when my girlfriend told me she was pregnant with her twin brother was out of this world. of all, she requested I take responsibility.

I couldn’t sleep that night. I got weary with thoughts as I rolled from one edge of my bed to the other.

“What’s up with you?” My mother noticed.

I looked dead in her eyes wanting to let out the words “Elizabeth is pregnant for me” but it didn’t just feel right. The words resonate in my head and I found it hard to process.

My parents would be very disappointed in me. The food tasted stale in my mouth and I felt full without taking more than a few spoons in.

I just couldn’t.

The following week, I do not know what made me just want to see her, I went to her house just to have words with her and man up by telling her I just couldn’t do it.

I honestly didn’t prepare for the big shocker.

“So, what’s the update?” The masculine voice asked.

I recognised that voice. The hoarseness, the pride in the way the words came out of the throat. It was someone I’ve come in contact with.

“I’m yet to hear from him,” the feminine voice I recognised as Elizabeth responded.

“We have to hurry, you know. The earlier the better. The faster we are able to penetrate his family the better for our family.”

“Yes I know. He sure will do anything to please me, he has a very soft spot for me,” she assured.

I’ve had people want to get familiar with me just because of my family name, “The Ozo’s” because of how prestigious we are in my community but from the girl I truly loved was the height of it.

I walked in like I had not heard anything, and that time her brother had already stepped in.

She switched her mood and began to act all up. She had no idea I had heard everything discussed.

I played along. Luckily for me, I had recorded everything.

Guess what?

I got her actually pregnant and den1ed having known her with the proof of my recordings.

I just had to pay her back.
