A friend told me 2yrs ago that the secret of his business growth is ensuring he has big stocks in his shop, that’s how he was able to break into the market as a new entrant in the business he’s doing.

Like most people selling stuff sells like 10dozens, but when he joined, he started with 30 dozens and before he knew it, the news spreads that there is a bigger store for it and he gives little discount of N300😜 and they keep coming.

The thing is this, when you open a big shop with huge stocks, people naturally believe your price will be cheaper than small space shops.

Customers come naturally with little efforts, and they even tell friends that they know a place where they think they can get a particular item cheaper even though they only pass through the place and have never stopped to buy. What they rely on is the volume of stocks.

But funny enough, some big shops sell almost same prices you will find in smaller shops and you will wonder why.

Volume matters in business and plays a psychological role in sales too. If you have enough money, buy more, they may think you are the company’s main outlet.
